Allow me introduce myself, my name is Chase Howells and I am an account manager for FrontLine Exhibits. I have always had a passion for marketing, which has led me to the current place in my career where I am totally consumed by it.
The main focus of my role at FrontLine is to work with our clients, which are typically marketing departments, and assist in the development of relational marketing experiences for them. Through this, I get to see many different approaches to trade shows, events, office environments, as well as the marketing departments’ impact on sales and recruiting. What I continue to find is how the experiences end up being very similar. Many are faced with the same challenges that others have or have had in the past. What I plan to share from this part of my role is how people are dealing with these challenges.
The second largest component of my role is being in charge of the social media and SEO of our company aka “FrontLine Online.” Being young, I know everything about the ins and outs of social media right? Not really, so here I’ll also share my personal challenges and look for input from you. Also, this keeps me engaged in the current marketing trends and industry news, as I’m part of a number of LinkedIn groups, constantly barraged with related tweets and rummaging through many articles. If I find something completely relevant, or totally original, I’ll keep you informed.
Lastly, I’m working on becoming a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM). We engage in unique specialized classes, and learn how to best market at trade shows and events. Through this, I again get to surround myself with other marketers and talk about the latest in the industry. I will share with you interesting tidbits I pick up here as well.
