Making the Most of the Freeze

Share This Post:

If you’re located in the frozen half of the country, you’ve likely been trapped indoors for the longest period since the pandemic. This time around, most are prepped and ready to still get some work done from home. Being late January, we are firmly in Spring show season prep mode. Here are some things you can be doing at your home workspace to finalize spring preparations:

Plot Out The Show Calendar

Put all possible events down on a calendar, and then build out shipping schedules and ordering schedules. This will help to expose any overlapping events, and save money by ordering services by the advanced show deadline. It may be time to determine additional and/or rental exhibits to cover multishow weekends.

Develop Event Marketing Strategy

We have many posts in this blog over the years about the importance of making your mark with attendees before the show ever starts. Now is a great time to start building anticipation for your brand with the people you want in your booth the most. Getting on the attendees’ “must visit” list before they hit the floor will help to ensure a successful show. We love to help our clients come up with relevant, engaging strategies to make this happen. Let us know if we can help!

Order Accessories and Promotional Materials

Have the core of your booth set already, but want to freshen some things up for 2026? Look into graphic refreshes, accessory items like A/V components, flooring, simple signage, and other pieces that could accentuate the look and feel of your space. Additionally, promotional materials can be restocked, replaced, or ordered new. We’re in a good window for ordering just about any of these items before March starts.

Basically, if this freeze-in has offered some extra time, utilize it to organize and prepare. It’s a great way to save money, build a winning strategy, and make sure this spring show season is as successful as possible. We are here and have tools to help with any or all of the above, and are frozen-in as well happy to help!
