When In Vegas

Share This Post:

I recently visited Las Vegas to assist with setting up a display for one of our clients at SuperZoo. While in town, I took the opportunity to visit a couple of industry adjacent and inspiring attractions: The Neon Museum and The Arte Museum. I found both to be inspiring in different ways relevant to my work in the display and signage spaces.

The Neon Museum

As FrontLine has more firmly established itself in the signage business over the years, executing hundreds of signage projects nationwide, I couldn’t help but pay homage to the Mecca of signage, Las Vegas. The Neon Museum does a great job highlighting signs, new and old, that have captivated the many thousands, if not millions, who have glanced their way. Bright, vibrant colors, unique designs, and of course LIGHT. All of which translates to all of the work we do in producing logos and branding dimensionally. I think one thing that I’ve known, but was cemented, was that lighting looks so much better in the dark. So I’ve been contemplating how best to recreate that nighttime ambience in a bright trade show hall.

The Arte Museum

This museum offers an immersive experience, complete with full-sized video walls (and sometimes floors) featuring high-impact visuals, aromas, sounds, and a few even incorporate a touch component. Engaging four out of the five senses, or five out of five if you include the cafe at the end for taste. Truly immersive. That matters because it is those entirely captivating experiences that are memorable. This has proven true on the trade show floor as well. That is why we enjoy helping our clients create unique, immersive scenes. I think it also points to why the LED video walls have become so popular. The big, moving visuals grab the eye.

Have you considered how to best incorporate backlighting, or how to make your in-booth experience more sensory? Contact us to help you develop the best strategy for these in your upcoming shows. In the meantime, if you’re in Vegas check out one or both of these great places (you won’t lose nearly as much money at these places either)!
