Richmond, Va.-Frontline Exhibits (FLE) has further developed its branded environments to include retail stores and showrooms. The expanded capabilities include environment concept, layout design, project management, custom flooring and fixtures utilizing a wide range of materials, and retail graphics.  “The new segment was a natural extension from the corporate branded environments we have been executing,” said Hank Howells, President. “We expanded into this segment when a number of our exhibit clients wanted us to explore translating their brand communications to retail merchandising.

N.B. Handy Company, a leading wholesale distributor of commercial roofing products, HVAC equipment and supplies, engaged FLE to support their rollout of retail showrooms. Bill Thomasson, Vice President-Marketing stated, “After an extensive search, we identified FrontLine Exhibits as the ideal firm to provide project management for the development and installation of retail displays, wall graphics, and shelf units for our Branches in the Mid-Atlantic Region. FrontLine’s role in the project included concept, design, procurement, and installation of all the materials needed for each Branch’s retail showroom.  They were able to visually express the broader brand promise to our target audience while maintaining a clean, yet distinct, appearance. I really appreciated their flexibility in both the design and installation phases of the project.”

Throughout 2012, FLE expanded its supply base in order to provide a broader range of products and capabilities for customization.  This included establishing agreements with international suppliers to bring new elements to the retail environment to support evolving visual strategies.

Branded environments now represent almost a quarter of the company’s business and have been a significant contributor to its growth over the past year.  With the current planned retail projects, FLE will see continued expansion of this segment through 2013.
